About Me

Heather Watkins LMT

I have always had a passion for helping people. I was previously employed in EMS working on an ambulance as well as being a 911 dispatcher. Following a debilitating car accident. Life as I knew it was forever changed. My injuries prevented me from being an active and engaged mother as well as ending a career that I absolutely loved. After several failed surgeries and still being in a considerable amount of pain I began looking for relief through holistic therapies. I found the greatest improvement through a holistic approach alongside massage therapy. Although my car accident was life altering it was during this time that I came to realize I had an opportunity to immerse myself in a path of helping others in similar situations. Most recently I have been diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) As well as a rare disorder of the spine. It is because of these journeys that I can connect with my clients on a deeper level than most other practitioners. Having to deal with pain in my daily life, I know what it is like to seek support and not always find it. My hope is that I can take these experiences and become for others what I did not have for myself. A support system based on lived experiences, shared knowledge, education, and a deep empathy for individual healing. It is with such deep gratitude that I get to be part of your healing journey.
